Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Documents you upload, and the text extracted from them.

Questions you ask and the answers produced.

Your email address, if you create an account.

Technical records needed to run the Service: an anonymous session identifier, usage counters, and error logs.

Analytics: which pages you visited, what you clicked, and where your visit came from. This includes recordings of how the interface behaved during your visit — with the text of your documents and of your chat hidden before anything leaves your browser.

2. Why we collect it

To read your documents and answer your questions — the purpose you came for.

To keep your history so you can return to a document.

To enforce free-tier limits and to detect abuse.

To send you the sign-in code you asked for, and messages about your purchase.

To find out which parts of the interface confuse people, and which advertisement brought a visitor who found the Service useful.

3. What we never do

We do not use your documents to train models.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

We do not read your documents ourselves except when you ask us to investigate a problem you reported.

Analytics never captures the text of your documents or of your conversation. Those areas are marked as hidden in the page itself, so the text is replaced before the recording leaves your browser — not filtered afterwards on someone else's server.

4. Who else processes it

Hosting. Your documents and our database are stored on servers in the Netherlands. The provider is currently Timeweb Cloud.

Language model. When you ask a question, the relevant passages of your document are sent to a language model through an AI gateway. Only the passages needed to answer are sent, not the whole document.

Email. Sign-in codes and messages about your purchase are sent through the mail service of the techbase.pro domain.

Payments. Card details are handled by Stripe and by the payment partner named on your receipt. We never see or store them. Stripe's privacy notice: https://stripe.com/privacy

Analytics. Google Ads measures which advertisement led to a visit. Microsoft Clarity shows how the interface was used. Sentry receives error reports so we learn about breakage without waiting for a complaint.

We name the providers we use today. If we change one, this page changes with it.

5. How long we keep it

Documents and chats are kept until you delete them. Deleting a document removes the file and everything derived from it.

Usage counters are kept for 30 days. Error logs are kept for 30 days.

Account data is kept while the account exists.

6. Your rights

You can delete any document at any time from the interface.

You can request deletion of your account and everything in it, a copy of your data, or correction of it, by writing to support@techbase.pro.

We answer such requests within one business day and complete them within 30 days.

7. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. The database is not exposed to the internet. Access to the server is by key only.

No system is perfectly secure. Do not upload material whose disclosure would cause you serious harm.
